THESSALONIKI to LITOHORO.90km.Follow the road from car compound out of the airport,at the traffic lights turn left into the duall carriageway,follow signs for ATHENS and peripheral road then at the end of Thessaloniki take motorway to Athens.After EKATERINI start looking for signs to LITOHORO,turn into Litohoro road and that will take you to the village square.
Out of Litohoro to the motorway,turn south to ATHENS through Platamonas and Tembi gorge turn to LARISSA then KALAMBAKA,you should be able to see the great rocks of Meteora from miles away..
Out of KASTRAKI or KALAMBAKA turn right towards YIANNINA.A very tweesty road via the high katara pass. Plenty of roadside parking some with fresh water springs,lots of cafes and petrol stations,very difficult to overtake, at YIANNINA follow the road towards the AIRPORT.
From YIANNINA AIRPORT follow road to KONITSA then turn right towards MONODENDRI. After a steep climb you can see the mountains of ZAGORI.MONODENDRI is a short drive away.
