We woke up with high moral today, its the easiest day of the whole trek.We followed the zig zag path we sew the day before up to a pass at around 3100m were we stopped for a rest and photos,The route then followed a river on a fairly flat path for some kms until we reached the Mgoun base camp. The plateu is actually inhabited by nomad shepperds in the summer months. The base camp consisted of a one room refugio,a French camp our camp and to our amazement a shop selling Coke and Mars bars and unbeleivably Hot showers at £1 per go.The views were superb with the whole high altidute plateu around us and Mgoun in the distance. The afternoon was very pleasant ,we rested with the only exitement been to see one of the french trekkers collapse in front of us due to altidute sicknes.Next day was the DAY so we had a hearty meal and went to bed early because of next days very early start.
