I woke up in the morning with a cold left ear,the chilling breeze blew all night over my face, radical action had to be taken for next night's al-fresco bivouac. Two people decided to take the day off,i was one of them. The rest of the group was slogging up the hill while we were adjusting our sleeping matts outside so we could get the maximum from the sun. After a couple of hours i got bored,so i decided to visit the cave above the campsite. That was'd very eventfull,i was back after about an hour. After an early lunch we carried on sunbathing and soon the first of the group started arriving. The fit Canadians offcourse were first without even breaking sweat. The rest soon arrived with tales such as buying crisps from a shop, washing with hot water and sitting on a chair.By now everybody gathered outside our tent and the rest of the afternoon was spend resting, drinking and gossiping. Some opted to do chores like laundry and showering. The very technically equiped Canadians were testing a water filter in case our mineral water got contaminated. The evening arrived with another sunset, the Aladaglar mountains turned red again,so we took the chance for some more photos. We had a problem with the supply of logs for the fire,we only had four logs so we decided to burn them in the middle so to make eight,it actually worked and it occupied us for the rest of the night.I again decided to sleep outside under the stars, but this time i made a shelter out of the extra matresses against the cold breeze,it worked. Before nodding off i watched Ersin ,still at the campfire making sixteen logs out of the eight left burning. It was our last night at Demirkazik base camp, what a grand name for a camp that is accesible by car.
