We woke up to an incredible view, the valleys just below our camp were covered in mist and the sun was filtering through. To my great surprise the Canadians were sober, breakfast was the same as the previous 12 days and by the time we finished the mist cleared. We got onto a dirt track in thick forest that later changed to a good path.We kept descending and soon the forest thinned out and we could see the Village of Barazama,an isolated village next to a river at the end of a huge valley.Next stop was a local house ,we rested and had mint tea,the locals gathered on our departure to see us off.We carried on through the village (it had no surfaced roads) bought cokes and crisps from the local shop and picked up the path next to the river. Our lunchspot was next to the river about 1 km away. Our first river crossing went without any casualties and carried on along a forest road for some distance.Another river crossing past a village and we could see the campsite on the other bank.A dusty tiny site,it had electricity, fridge, video and television but still no hot water. The Canadians checked the bar and reported that it was full. With great reluctance we quequed up for the shower (we were flying next day and had to be clean) and listened to the comments,like- don't let the water touch your body-do not put your head under the hose because your brains might seize up-.In the end nobody died of hypothermia,we felt cleaner and a lot better.During dinner we were informed that we were going to have a 4:00 am wake up.Campfire was forbidden in case we burned the site down,we sat outside till late anyway the temperature was a lot higher than the other camps
